La rose australienne exceptionnellement rare pousse sur un arbre pouvant atteindre jusqu'à 30 pieds de haut. Cette distillation unique d'huiles essentielles de la famille des Myrtacées regorge de magnifiques géraniol et acétate de géranyle qui sont des constituants botaniques sublimes pour le soin de la peau. Le constituant géraniol est un alcool monoterpène, le Dr Kurt Schnaubelt écrit que ce composant agit comme un tonique, est bien toléré et « a certains des parfums les plus attrayants. Les huiles dans lesquelles ces alcools sont dominants peuvent être utilisées généreusement et fréquemment et ont donc une grande valeur pour maintenir l'équilibre » et la verve générale (1999 : 179).
