This eyeshadow is a BEAUTY BIBLE 2020 WINNER- SILVER (Joint) BEST NATURAL & BEAUTY STEAL WINNER as we chose this shade to send into the awards and it was reviewed by 25 individual testers. Here is what they had to say:
Well, not so VERY far behind the globally-renowned Miss Tilbury's is the score for a far less well-known brand, from Canada, whose founder's goal was 'to create a natural, safer alternative to traditional, mainstream cosmetics,' using luxurious organic ingredients. The shade of this single shadow trialled here was Drama Queen, a deep 'royal grape' shade, with a satin finish. Alongside its other natural credentials, Pure Anada is Leaping Bunny-certified cruelty-free – and we like that this can be bought either as a compact, or in a refill to slip into an existing Pure Ananda compact. (Empty compacts sold separately.)
OUR TESTERS' COMMENTS:
‘10/10 for this pressed powder eyeshadow, which I applied with an eyeshadow brush. The deep grape colour and satin finish looks really pretty with my blue grey eyes and is very blendable. It would be universally flattering for different colourings. It stayed put for day and night without creasing. A little goes a long way as its very pigmented. It’s suitable for sensitive eyes’ • ‘This is one of the nicest eye shadows I have tried. The packaging is so pretty and it’s perfect for popping in your make up bag. It’s vibrant and highly pigmented, and so blendable and easy to work with over a base. I loved the finished look thought it lasted for a very reasonable amount of time (eight hours). I think this gives other well-known brands a run for their money. It promises to bring out the best in my eyes with silky soft shadows. I think it has done what it promises and I have been told my eye shadow looks pretty. An all round great product that blends like a dream’ • ‘I really like the effect of this natural, miner based eye shadow. I was pleasantly surprised when I used it for the first time. Now, it makes me smile every time I take out the little pretty, floral packaging box. I used my fingers to apply over a base of foundation and it went on evenly with a matte-ish finish. I did like the finished look. It is a colour I wouldn't normally choose but it really complimented my skin tone. It didn't crease at all which was fantastic’ • ‘I would never choose this colour with my brown eyes and olive skin but people said how nice it looked. It was very easily to blend over a foundation base; it lasted well with no creasing and the colour stayed true’ • ‘The colour is a gorgeous amethyst, which gained me compliments. There was plenty of shimmer but the more you blended the more the shimmer faded which wasn't a bad thing for me. If you don't use a base/primer, it will need touching up – also if you have hay fever! The mineral texture is wonderful and it felt great to apply it. It’s very easy to blend in. I would recommend it to red-haired goddesses as it would look amazing!’
