This summertime softer and sweeter version of our potent, penetrating Peppermint has a refreshing, herbaceous aroma with a classical candy hint of mint.

Provenance is prominent when it comes to peppermint oils as the constituents of the oils are profoundly influenced by geography, weather, and cultivation method. The long days and cooler nights of Yakima, Washington summers encourage the essential oil emanations of sweet, herbal monoterpenes and lactones that make Yakima Valley Peppermint so special.

Uses:  A zippy addition to culinary creations and teas. Add a drop to honey for troubled tummies. Dilute to use in jojoba or a Best Skin Ever to cool redness. Super duper in a salt pipe. Crystal clear in diffusers. Feels good on foreheads that have thought too much. Acts nice like portable, peppermint ice: apply neat to skin that is in need of some cool TLC.

Contraindication: Due to its cooling properties, do not use undiluted on children under five years old as it can bring body temperature down. Okay to use a small amount (1-2%) diluted.

Delicate palettes and sensitive noses especially appreciate the slightly softer mintiness of our Yakima Valley Peppermint Essential Oil.  It is a salve to hot, red skin issues and a cooling, easing treat for tense necks and heads full of heat.  A drop straight in the mouth or on a toothbrush sweetens breath, and a drop in honey, or a glass of water can calm grumbly tummies. As an addition to sweet treats and teas, it brings the perfect proportion of peppiness one would expect from Peppermint.
